The digital display offers power output, RIT, storage frequencies as well as short-wave radio receiver functions. The New HB1B has a separate charge jack and the 18650KIT (battery pack and charger) is an option for it. The HB1B does not come with a power cord but the MFJ-5513 will work.

This is an ideal transceiver for CW enthusiasts who like to set up a station at an impromptu location. A picnic bench in a park with a Random antenna wire thrown into a tree, a remote camp-site, long nature walks are just a few ideas were this would work well. The unit does not include an internal antenna tuner.
