The TomTom Rider 2 is made for all types of weather while on the road with its waterproof in-casing, and is made with specialized features for use on motorcycles. Included with the TomTom Rider 2, mapping software which includes all of the United States, Canada, Guam, and Puerto Rico. The entire United States is installed on a 1GB SD card, while the other countries are on a 128MB SD card.
With an ultra bright anti-glare 3.5" color touchscreen and 65,000 colors, the TomTom Rider 2 is exceptionally easy to see and operate even on the brightest of days. There is even a sun visor that has been installed on the TomTom Rider 2, which makes the TomTom Rider 2 2 even easier to use during the day. The touch screen is extremely sensitive due to it being made for use while the operator is wearing gloves. The internal battery provides up to five hours of use on a full charge.The TomTom Rider 2 includes a 12-channel GPS receiver to provide top notch acquisition time and accuracy.
The TomTom Rider 2 features a Bluetooth headset which includes over 50 voices and 30 different languages, this unit has everything a motorcyclist could want! With the integrated Bluetooth, TomTom has enabled users to connect their Bluetooth enabled cell phones to the TomTom Rider 2. While connected, users can connect to TomTom's server on the internet and users can acquire real-time traffic updates, and many other extras that are available through TomTom Plus Services.
