The new Sangean PR-D8 is a top quality AM, FM stereo radio that incorporates an MP3 and MP3 Recorder/player. The SD media player and recorder has a record level indication, and supports track name and MP3 folder creation. MP3 recording can be selected for three different bit rates: 64k, 128 kbps or 1962 kbps. Time recording can be from FM, AM, Auxiliary Input or the internal microphone. SD cards (not supplied) are supported up to 16 GB. The controls are very easy to use and you get 5 presets for AM and 5 for FM. There is an adjustable backlit dot matrix LCD display. A rotary knob is provided for volume. Up-Down buttons are provided for manual tuning. There is a built in dual alarm clock timer with sleep function and humane wake up system to buzzer or radio. The left side of the radio has an earphone jack, line output jack plus an auxiliary input jack.

The PR-D8 includes a 9V AC Adapter. This radio can also operate from four "C" cells or four rechargeable cells (cells are not included). There are a headphone and line out sockets. Size: 9 x 5 x 2 inches. Weight 1½ lbs. The batteries load from the back panel. The C cells may be of alkaline or rechargeable type. It is very important that the "battery type" switch in the battery compartment be correctly set to alkaline or rechargeable. One year limited manufacturer's warranty.
