Kaito KA 33 Portable Shortwave Loop Antenna
For shortwave use switch the antenna module to SW, connect the compact antenna with it's 15 foot antenna cable into the amplifier/preselector and the preselector's 18" cable directly into the 1/8" ANT jack of radios such as the KA2100 or KA1103 or to the radios external SW antenna connector with the included bare wire adapter.
For Medium Wave use, switch the antenna module to MW, connect the compact antenna into the MW ferrite inductive coupler/adapter. Place the ferrite bar antenna adapter near the radios internal ferrite rod/bar antenna. Usually this is in the top center of the radio but placing the unit around this area will peak the signal when it is placed in the best spot.
If you want to boost your AM and Shortwave receiver to maximum, this loop antenna will work for you! With this active antenna all the stations are clearer than ever and any noisy or distant stations will stay crystal clear.
The KA33 comes with a ferrite rod that will boost weak AM signals.
