After nearly 12 years of hibernation, the lovable little BM-10 is back! Hundreds of requests each year from all of our wonderful customers caused to take a fresh look at the headset that actually started it all back in 1985. Developed as a request of the Northern California DX Pedition team that was headed for Navassa, the BM-10 quickly became THE headset for the top contest and DX operators. After all these years, we have retooled the BM-10 and have upgraded the cable system to use our AD-1 adapter interface.

There are three models of the BM-10. The color of the earpad designates the type of element that is installed in the microphone boom.

Our AD-1 adapter is necessary to use the BM-10 with popular transceivers. When ordering, it is important to specify what brand of transceiver you have! EXAMPLE -- AD-1 Y (Yaesu), AD-1 K (Kenwood), AD-1 T (Ten-Tec), etc...

For ICOM and ICOM only, the Bm-10-ic and the BM-5-ic use the high performance Heil "ic" electret element. This has solved, once and for all the problem that has faced ALL early ICOM users for years. The new "ic" elements do not require any external preamps as they have very high output from it’s broad response internal f.e.t. All "ic" models come packaged with the proper mating adapter, the AD-1 ic.
