Mini 8, 50 Ohm coax is encased in a flex tube of stainless steel. Mini UHF connector is used so that it can be fed through the mirror arms of a truck. This way you end up with a factory style installation.

Ground strap is included.

It is also made of stainless steel. It should prevent corrosion and loss of ground.

The steel tube also acts as a natural barrier to coax signal loss. You can run an amplifier and not bleed from the coax to the computer of the truck.

It also prevents RF burns to the radio operator when properly installed. Crimp on the ground strap and drill a pilot hole in the first available piece of metal inside the the vehicle.
